The band's own Hector Martinez shared that the song's inspiration originated from a personal experience. He recounted an encounter where an individual approached him after witnessing Hector walking his dog, who used a wheelchair for mobility. The stranger revealed that he had been contemplating suicide, but witnessing the determined spirit of the disabled dog, unwilling to give up and persistently moving forward, had a profound impact on him. This encounter led the stranger to reconsider his own situation and find inspiration to keep pushing forward.
