Description: Vapor Drunk marks the return of heavy shoegazers from Chicago, Old Coke, and it is themed on the idea of a lost romance. The song was recorded with Zac Montez (Whirr, Cloakroom) and Corey Coffman (Gleemer, Kraus). After their EP, Sorted, Old Coke continue to make significant use of robust percussion, again recorded by Joe Gac of the Chicago indie band Meat Wave, and layered, incredibly heavy guitars which form an imposing wall of sound. The perfect fusion of shoegaze and emo rock is on display in Vapor Drunk.
