Description: Finland-based band, Besra, first gained attention with their 2018 debut album, Anhedonia, which showcased their emotionally complex and strong post metal style. The band has released a live video of their performance at Turku, Finland's Rødhouse Studio available in advance of the release of their imminent second album. Having been spending considerable time there for sometime, the spot represents both the challenges and ultimate success of a band resolute in their vision. Besra are at their most intricate on the new release, which was recorded and mixed by the band's vocalist Hannes Hietarinta and mastered by Magnus Lindberg from Cult Of Luna. In addition to two brand new songs, Sirens and Closure, which are curiously brief for the band's standards, and feature unexpected saxophone passages by guest artist Oskari Ruohonen (Oskr, Yournalist), the group also performs a spectacular new version of the crowd favourite Dwell In Gloom. The video was filmed and directed by filmmaker Atte Heinonen.
