Description: The opening track of NIKET's self-titled EP is Circadian Thoughts (Of You), a work with an emotional theme which can be very relevant to all. The song features vocals that discuss the Denial stage of the grieving process. Based on an orchestral background, soothing and melodic guitar lines, a drum lead up, and ambient synthesizers which create a serene beginning, the expansive track builds to a massive explosive part, where the constrained sentiments of denial can no longer be contained. The harsh vocals bemoan loss, love, and the inability of one to understand the narrator's situation. A vocal sample from the composer's personal family collection of VHS tapes is used in the opening sequence to amplify the sense of loss of a dear one.
