Description: Genuine, unrelenting doom, sludge, and stoner metal attributes come from the up-and-coming Danish band Dread Witch from Aarhus. Tower of the Severed Serpent, the band's excellent new six-song release, is a convincing example that new concepts and inventive work are always possible, even when things have felt stale within the dimensions of a particular genre. A dark type of elation can be prompted by the super heavy guitar tone, ominous riffs, and darkened vocals, which also help to unfold a narrative that can captivate its audience. The sound of the eviscerating Dread Witch is quite thrilling and cannot be missed.
