Description: Oakland, California-based Cheree is a four-piece industrial noise band that was founded in 2021. Feedback, abrasive guitars, mesmerizing samples, and stinging vocals make up their sound. The band's first track Churn Down, with its relentless pummeling, wailing guitar, and Vanessa's angry and desolate vocals, alludes to the harm associated with wage labor. "We are not the sum of our parts—we are solely the labor we contribute to society, objects fulfilling someone's greed." We expect more of the band's reactionary and rough approach to contemporary industrial and hardcore punk on their upcoming EP, Factory.
