Description: Sebastian Lackner is the musician at the helm of the Austrian avant garde metal act Black Yen, which was founded in 2017 with the intention of creating music influenced by a variety of styles and different subgenres from a big range. The full length SATORI which came out in 2021 saw that aim being realized, and now Black Yen continue with a split EP next to their fellow Austrians ♄♄♄♄♄ (Saturnists). Cobalt Dreams showcases the form of post black metal that Black Yen has to to provide in eight long and complex minutes, and it's a very intriguing venture.
