Description: Chicago's sludge, doom metal band Barren Heir have returned with the new track, Some of Its Parts, which is part of their upcoming album, Died Down. The group's grim type of sludge and doom metal is best exemplified by their latest single, which, owing to its incredibly heavy riffage and overall weightiness, gives the impression that comes from an outfit much larger than a three-piece. Although Some of Its Parts ventures into post metal territory, it wraps up before it can fully expand, leaving the listener eager for more.
