Description: II is the second movement of Aveilut, the experimental album of enigmatic act Scarcity featuring Brendon Randall-Myers (Glenn Branca Ensemble) and Doug Moore (Pyrrhon, Weeping Sores). The music, which consists of one 45-minute composition, has black metal foundations, and exhibits microtonal guitar abuse elements, together with a cinematic context. Aveilut attempts to depict a disaster, the enormity and inevitableness of things far beyond our influence, and is nightmarish widespread interpretation of death's authentic form. It's immersed in tragedy and sorrow, and musically, it makes very instinctual allusions to contemporary black metal and post metal.
