Description: Renatus are an obviously promising Texas-based death metal band, making their debut with the excellent full length Corpse Bearer. Renatus become a notable fresh find on account of the intensity and technical prowess of their heavy sound, which has a clear deathcore influence. One of the most deathcore-sounding songs on the album is about the Chernobyl nuclear accident that occurred close to the Ukrainian city of Pripyat on April 26th, 1986, becoming one of the worst nuclear accidents in history. The track was produced by Josh Barber (Norma Jean, Tech Nine, and Hit The Lights).
