Description: Pyramid Mass's music is sludgy and noisy, it takes a step toward the most deadly side of post metal, and is best characterized by the title of their upcoming album, Monolith. Wars is an incredibly intense track which unleashes massive amounts of heaviness while keeping its post hardcore and noise rock influences well-concealed but audible to the trained ear. The excellent recording by Kevin Bernsten with technical assistance from Matt Redenbo, and the mastering by James Plotkin, have also a lot to add to the quality of all the musical upheaval that this band brings.
